Somewhere Out There
You think falling in love is about holding on, but it isn’t. It is about hands gripping the edge of the world and letting go, one finger at a time. Take a deep breath—here comes to drop. I know it’s your first time here, but soon you will get used to the motion; the headlong dive into the deep. Just go with it. You only get one chance to fall in love with your heart still whole.
They say it takes 21 days to break a habit but it has been long since you’re gone and you’re still the only thought and I’ve got to deal with missing you is the hardest thing every day. I wonder what kind of habit this is then?
I survived and get a religious version of me than ever. You only get one chance to fall in love with your heart still whole. To the brokenhearted suffers, never wasted a heart that just left an eclipse for a wrong person. I want to keep that ‘whole heart’ only for the one and only for who has written by the greatest of writers. I find the rest in the remembrance of Allah.
I don’t want to be beyond hyperbole but people who may suffer a heart break moreover if being involved in a haram relationship, as if they’re hopeless, as in them dying and be like “What is the purpose of life? Why is love such a pain?” Realize that it might be the selfish side of us. First thing first, we have to love yourself first before everything. Overcome it with positive thought and seeing it as a challenge and Allah’s trust that He puts and believes in your shoulder instead of cursing and being in an endless sadness.
In sujood, we whisper down on the earth and it’s heard up in the heavens, there I found what I lost, feeling like nothing else exists between me and Allah. We already have our own story book even before we’re born to the world, the book titled as “Lauhul Mahfudz”. Where our destiny, prosperity, soulmate and so on, all of those have been determined inside.
Sad people tend to keep a silent than roaring out loud the feeling but they’re best in writing because words speak louder to deliver their thought that lies beneath. Also, sometimes a song lyric able to deliver the sentences that left unsaid better. I have what I want to say about all things beautiful thoughts of mine through this song.
Somewhere out there, someone’s saying a prayer.
That we’ll find one another in that big somewhere out there.
Somewhere out there, beneath the pale moonlight someone is thinking of me and loving me tonight.
And even though I know how very far apart we are.
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star.
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby, it helps to think we’re sleeping underneath the same big sky.
Somewhere out there, if love can see us through. Then we’ll be together. Somewhere out there, out where dreams come true.
—An American Tail
To my future & my soulmate whose made of the same breath, I’m wondering when is our star would align as I begin joining the dots up in the sky. Are you healthy? I do hope so. Are you happy? I wish you are. Are you in love with someone else? I wish she's gentle. Until then, I’ll learn your name 'till we are realized that we have known each other all along. Isn't it so sweet?
